Motion 2

For this assignment, I tried capturing people doing ordinary actions while in the air. I tried using a fast-shutter speed in order to capture the pictures.  I photographed people doing things that are visible every day. The pictures create the illusion that the people are levitating, while also being casual.

Motion 1

For this assignment, I tried to take blurry pictures, by moving the camera while shooting the picture. I tried to take pictures of people, lights and objects with color.

Silhouettes

For this project I tried to photograph silhouettes and tried to create a negative space. I photographed people, objects and trees.

Dorothea Lange Final

This was my last cohesive batch trying to imitate Dorothea Lange's style. All of the subjects are very focused on the activities that they were doing.

This was the last time I tried to imitate Dorothea Lange's style of documenting daily life. I photographed my family and also friends at school.

Once again, I tried to imitate Dorothea Lange's style by documenting people doing daily life activities. I tried to take photographs of people from school who were having a good time or were really focused on what they were doing.

Dorothea Lange Inspiration Pictures

For this project, I tried to imitate Dorothea Lange's style of capturing people while doing an activity. Dorothea Lange photographed people while doing an activity or people facing a struggle; she was a photojournalist. Dorothea's pictures were candid, and so I tried to photograph art classes, friends and my family doing daily life activities.
