Street Photography

My style of photography for the project is street photography. For this assignment, I tried to capture the very different aspects of San Francisco. All of the pictures that I took, were either taken in the Mission District, the Fillmore or around the neighborhood. I tried to capture urbanity of San Francisco, ordinary life, houses, murals and store fronts. I tried to photograph different aspects of San Francisco, in order to compare the different aspects between each neighborhood.

Experiments

For this assignment, I tried experimenting with different filters in Photoshop.

 For the picture below, I used the filter called: Ink Outlines in Photoshop and then, I messed around with the saturation.

 For the picture below, I used the filter called: Glow Edges in Photoshop.

 For the picture below, I just messed around with the saturation.

 For the image below, I just played around with the saturation.

 For the image below, I played around with the saturation.

 I also messed around with the saturation for this picture, and did not use any filter.
