Idris Khan Imitation Style 2

For this group of images, I tried to imitate Idris Khan's style of photography by making m pictures in black and white and layering them. I also experimented with color.

For this project i tried imitating Idris Khan's style of photography, by editing my pictures, layering them and giving them a blurry effect.

Avedon Portraits

 For this picture, I tried capturing some sort of feeling and I conversed with my model to get this emotion.

 For the picture above, again, I kept conversing with my model about a variety of different topics, in order to capture different emotions.

 For the picture above, I told my model to look as if he were sad.

 For the picture above, I directed my model to look happy.

D. Lange

For the pictures below, I tried to imitate Dorothea Lange's style of photography. I made my pictures in black and white and edited the exposure. I tried to find a similar composition. The first four pictures are photographs that were taken by Dorothea Lange, and the rest of the pictures are mine. I tried to inspire the photographs out of these first four pictures. I photographed cities, cars, roads, people.

 For the picture above, I tried photographing a sign near a car. Lange photographed multiple signs and wagons, but wagons do not exist here in the city.

 For the image above, I tried photographing an empty sidewalk with a  few subjects.

Pictoral Design

 This picture shows line arrangement and leading lines. There are different line compositions that the tiles make.
